Rajdari Monsoon Ultra takes place on 2 August 2026 in the lush Chandauli forests of Uttar Pradesh, not far from Varanasi. The event features three distance categories designed for very different runners — from nature enthusiasts to serious ultra runners.

The setting is spectacular: thick monsoon forest, a seasonal waterfall at Rajdari, and running trails that rarely appear on the Indian race calendar.

The Three Categories

15K — Nature Walk & Run

Best for: First-time trail runners, hikers, families, and anyone who wants to experience the forest without a serious race effort.

The 15K is more of a guided trail experience than a competitive race. Expect a mix of walking and easy jogging. No significant prior trail experience needed.

24K — Adventure Run

Best for: Runners with a road running base of at least 21K, or trail runners looking for a meaningful challenge without the extreme distance of the ultra.

The 24K covers more technical terrain than the 15K and requires genuine running fitness. Expect 2.5–4 hours on your feet depending on conditions.

76K — Ultra Marathon

Best for: Experienced ultra runners with prior 50K+ race finishes. The 76K has cutoff times you must meet at each checkpoint.

This is a serious ultra. Monsoon conditions mean soft, slippery trail surfaces and potential water crossings. You'll need experience with nutrition for 8–14 hours of effort, night running gear if you're slower, and poles are strongly recommended.
